Overview

The plant started in 1997 as Amoco Chemicals Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. and was later renamed BP Chemicals Malaysia Sdn. Bhd in 1998. It has now been bought by Reliance Industries (Middle East) DMCC.

It strives continuously to maintain high standards of workplace with regard to environment and safety, while always delivering a high quality product. Furthermore, RP Chemicals (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. consistently strives to deliver cutting-edge performance through on-going improvements which have helped serve its customers to their complete satisfaction and have made it grow on a sustainable basis. Its talented workforce and superior technology have made it grow sustainably and serve customers effectively. All this has helped it build itself as one of the most competitive PTA producers in South East Asia over the years.
